LOCATION: ST. LOUIS, MO

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Legal right to work and travel freely within the United States
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to operate company vehicles and equipment without restrictions
• Own tools required
• DOT pre-employment drug test
• TSA fingerprint check for Criminal History Records
• Availability to work any shift
• Fluent in reading and speaking English
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work platforms
• Ability to kneel, bend, and sit

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Hands-On Experience: Assist licensed aircraft mechanics in inspecting, servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft systems such as engines, landing gear, flight controls, avionics, and airframes.
• Learning and Development: Participate in a structured apprenticeship program to prepare for FAA examinations for an Airframe & Powerplant license.
• Mentorship: Work under experienced Licensed Airframe & Powerplant Technicians for guidance and compliance with FAA standards.
• Varied Duties: Engage in diverse tasks to ensure comprehensive learning.
• Training: Combine classroom instruction with hands-on training to develop necessary skills.
