Job Description

About the role: The Stationary Engineer will support maintenance, preventive, and corrective maintenance of Critical Systems equipment, ensuring the LA Plant's Critical Systems operate within validated states. Responsibilities include troubleshooting repairs, preparing detailed work orders, and understanding advanced process and control theory. Reports to the Critical Systems Manager.

How You Will Contribute

• Operate and repair Critical Utilities Systems and related mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Respond to urgent and emergency work orders.
• Close work orders in JDE System and complete Change Control documentation.
• Train and qualify on SOPs governing facility operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair systems including boilers, HVAC, pumps, and instrumentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations including NFPA, NEC, EPA laws, and local safety standards.
• Attend training and meetings as required.
• Possess knowledge of instrumentation, mechanical systems, and control systems.

What You Bring To Takeda

• Knowledge of Delta V, CMMS systems like JDE, Maximo.
• Proficiency in mathematical disciplines and measurement standards.
• Ability to interpret technical documents, drawings, and blueprints.
• Customer service and leadership skills, with experience in hazardous waste disposal.
• City Los Angeles Unlimited Steam Engineer's license required.
• Proficiency in English, with 4+ years of experience or higher education with relevant experience.

Important Considerations

• Ability to work overtime, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in controlled, loud, or confined environments.
• Compliance with gowning and safety protocols, including PPE use.

Compensation and Benefits

Location: USA - CA - Los Angeles

Hourly Wage Range: $27.60 - $43.37, dependent on experience and qualifications. Benefits include insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
