Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Maintenance Assistant / Activities & Transportation Assistant in Savannah, GA. The role combines maintenance and real-world resident transportation with activity support, roughly split 50/50 between upkeep and mobility services.

You will work under the Maintenance Director and Life Enrichment Director to keep facilities safe, clean, and engaging for residents. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of maintenance, operations, activities, transportation, or related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic building maintenance practices, tools and materials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate maintenance tools and machines.
• Coordinate with maintenance director and life enrichment director.
• Transport residents in community van to appointments and activities.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs as directed.
• Prepare activity areas and assist with resident events and programs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.
