Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Transportation Concierge/Van Driver to provide safe, scheduled van transportation for residents. You will assist in route planning, maintain logs, and keep the vehicle clean while supporting activities and ensuring timely repairs.

A team-oriented, courteous professional with a flexible schedule is essential. Responsibilities include assisting the Activities Department, maintaining policies, attending trainings, and reporting incidents promptly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Safe driving record; provide DMV copy to Executive Director.
• Current driver’s license for vehicle type used by the community.
• Polite and considerate of residents, visitors, co-workers and supervisor.
• Organized and able to work as part of a team.
• Physically and mentally capable of job duties.
• Able to ascend/descend stairs, operate a wheelchair lift, and assist a resident in a wheelchair.
• Represent residence professionally with neat dress and courteous manner.
• Uniforms may be required.
• Flexible schedule including some weekends/evenings.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Activities/Programming with activities as assigned.
• Know policies and procedures pertaining to the department.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

The Transportation Concierge/Van Driver will provide safe transportation services to residents of the community.

Provide van transportation to the residents on a scheduled basis and for special trips sponsored through the activity department Assist in developing routes and schedules based on resident needs and requests Keep appropriate records. Maintain mileage log, repair log, trip and expenses as required Keep receipts for expenses and submit them to Life Enrichment Director Keep van clean inside and out. Ensure routine maintenance and needed repairs are performed in a timely manner Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor and Harmony Senior Services immediately Assists Activities/Programming Department with activities as assigned Maintain a working knowledge of all policies and procedures pertaining to the department Attends all required in-services and staff meetings Completes all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a safe driving record and provide a copy of DMV record to Executive Director
• Must have current drivers license designated to permit operating the type of vehicle used by the community
• Must be polite and considerate of residents, visitors, co-workers and supervisor
