Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is hiring a Transportation Concierge/Van Driver to provide safe transportation for residents. You will operate the community van on a schedule and special trips, help plan routes, and maintain logs and receipts.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a clean driving record, and a valid license suitable for the vehicle. A team-oriented, flexible candidate who can lift up to 50 lbs is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be polite and considerate of residents, visitors, co-workers and supervisor.
• Must be organized and willing to work with others as part of a team.
• Must be physically and mentally capable of performing job duties.
• Must be able to ascend/descend stairs, operate wheelchair lift, push a resident in a wheelchair.

Responsibilities

• Provide van transportation to residents on a scheduled basis and for special trips.
• Assist in developing routes and schedules based on resident needs and requests.
• Keep appropriate records and mileage/repair/log/trip/expense records as required.
• Keep receipts for expenses and submit to Life Enrichment Director.
• Keep van clean inside and out and ensure routine maintenance is performed.
