Hyatt Hotels Corporation's Grand Hyatt Kauai in Poipu, Hawaii seeks a Maintenance 2 Mechanic to maintain and repair water feature systems, install electrical and plumbing components, and support project planning. The role requires 4–6 years in water features and pool chemistry; CPO preferred. This position is at Grand Hyatt Kauai, with comprehensive benefits and an hourly pay scale.

Qualifications

• Driver’s license required.
• Experience in water features and pool chemistry.
• 4–6 years of water features experience.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, service and repair resort water feature systems and equipment.
• Assist with planning and scheduling projects, and generate purchase orders.
• Install electrical systems, mechanical equipment, plumbing, piping for water features.
• Complete preventative maintenance program for systems and equipment.
• Perform inspections according to manufacturer guidelines, state codes, Hyatt standards.
• Maintain knowledge of pool chemistry, train others, keep equipment room safe per OSHA.

Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Water Features Team as a Maintenance 2 Mechanic at Grand Hyatt Kauai located in Poipu, Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, service and repair resort water feature systems and equipment.
• Assist with research, planning, and scheduling of projects and generate purchase orders.
• Install electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and work on plumbing & piping systems, and related water feature operations.
• Complete preventative maintenance program for systems and equipment.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, state codes, and Hyatt standards.
• Have knowledge of pool chemistry and general pool maintenance practices, train others, and maintain a clean, safe, well‑marked equipment room per OSHA guidelines.

90 Day Probationary Rate: $34.05 per hour/Hourly Rate: $40.06 per hour
