Job summary
Hyatt Vacation Club at Ka’anapali Beach is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer to respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment in a high-end hotel environment.
The role requires reading blueprints and electrical schematics, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work with little supervision. A valid driver’s license and 4–6 years of hands-on pool/MEP experience are preferred.
Qualifications
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Strong maintenance and repair skills.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
- 4–6 years hands-on pool and water feature experience.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety and security policies and report hazards or injuries.
- Maintain and protect company assets and confidential information.
- Welcome guests and address service needs with professionalism.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair MEP systems and pool equipment.
