Grand Hyatt Kauai in Poipu, Hawaii is seeking a Maintenance 2 to join our Engineering team. The role focuses on maintaining building systems and equipment, including troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, laundry and kitchen equipment. Hotel experience is preferred and three years of maintenance work is expected.

The position offers probationary pay with strong hourly rates and opportunities to contribute to guest satisfaction and hotel operations day by day.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years building maintenance experience, hotel experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull moderate to heavy weight and be able to stand/walk for long durations.
• Must be available for full shifts and varying schedules.

Summary

Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Engineering team as a Maintenance 2 at Grand Hyatt Kauai located in Poipu, Hawaii. Candidate will maintain building and equipment including troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, laundry and kitchen equipment. 3 years building maintenance experience, with hotel experience preferred. 90 Day Probationary Rate: $34.05 per hour; Hourly Rate: $40.06 per hour.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years building maintenance experience, with hotel experience preferred
• License and/or certification preferred
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others
• Able to lift, pull and push moderate to heavy amounts of weight
• Able to walk and stand throughout the duration of the shift
• Must be able to provide full availability
