Job summary

Hyatt Vacation Club is looking for a full-time Pool Maintenance Technician to assist in providing memorable experiences for guests. You will be responsible for water quality testing, maintaining chemical balances, and general pool maintenance, including cleaning and equipment care.

In this role, you will ensure safety and guest satisfaction, performing various tasks from cleaning to vendor interaction. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $23.05 per hour and great benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Able to lift/carry/push/pull items that weigh up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform water quality testing and maintain chemical balance.
• Pressure wash pool decks and maintain pool equipment.
• Clean pool tiles and inspect furniture and safety equipment.
• Meet with vendors and perform general maintenance on the pool.
• Regularly care for pools, ponds, and water features.

As a Pool Maintenance Technician, a typical day will include:

• Performs water quality testing and maintains an appropriate balance of chemicals in the water.
• Typical tasks include pressure washing pool decks, maintaining pool equipment, adjusting lighting and cleaning pool furniture.
• Clean pool tiles and features, backwash filters, inspect and repair furniture and safety equipment.
• Meets with Vendors, receives supplies, performs other general maintenance on the pool, and perform other duties as requested.
• Completes safety training and certifications.
• Regularly care for pools, ponds, and water features including; cleaning, vacuuming, and skimming of water, trimming and fertilizing aquatic plants, and caring for and treating fish.

To Become a Pool Maintenance Technician at HVC:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
• Specific job duties may differ by property, size of team, or facility.
