Job summary

Tarantino Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the building and grounds through routine procedures and special work orders. The role covers completing maintenance work orders, performing apartment make-ready tasks, and diagnosing basic HVAC and plumbing issues.

You will also maintain pool equipment and assist with overall property upkeep while responding to on-call emergencies. Ideal candidates are dependable, proactive, and capable of handling diverse maintenance

Qualifications

• HVAC (A/C) certification is required.
• Pool certification preferred.
• Experience with apartment maintenance and make-ready processes.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, furnaces and plumbing.
• On-call rotation and emergency response.
• Standing, bending, lifting and walking as part of a physically active role.

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry at least 20 lbs. or more


• HVAC (A/C) certification required


• Pool certification preferred


• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, furnaces, and plumbing


• Experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready processes, and work order systems


• Willingness to work on-call as needed (rotating schedule)


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail


• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred


• Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions


• Physically active role requiring standing, bending, lifting, and walking


• Full-time with rotating on-call responsibilities
