Associated Staffing is hiring a Maintenance team member in Holdrege, NE to help keep equipment, machinery and facility systems operating safely and efficiently. FOUR-DAY REGULAR WORKWEEK + COMPETITIVE PAY. $20–$22/hour depending on experience, 6:00 AM–4:45 PM; overtime on Fridays when required.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or mechanical experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb and work around machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Dependability and a strong focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• You'll work throughout the plant, both indoors and outdoors, handling a variety of maintenance and repair needs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues
• Diagnose equipment problems and make necessary repairs
• Repair or replace worn and damaged parts
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance needs
• Perform welding, fabrication and general mechanical repairs as needed
• Maintain and repair building and facility equipment
• Assist with installation and setup of new equipment
• Keep tools, equipment and maintenance areas clean and organized
• Maintain records of maintenance and completed repairs
• Follow company safety procedures at all times

$20 $22/hour, depending on experience Monday Thursday 6:00 AM 4:45 PM Overtime on Fridays when required

WHAT YOU LL BE DOING

BRING YOUR MECHANICAL KNOW-HOW

Previous maintenance or mechanical experience is preferred. We re looking for someone with:

• Experience troubleshooting machinery and equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependability and a strong focus on safety
