Mr. Dell's Foods, LLC is seeking Maintenance Mechanics for the Kearney, MO plant on the graveyard shift to maintain and repair production equipment in a temperature-controlled environment.

The role involves dismantling, overhauling, repairing, assembling and welding to keep production running smoothly, with a focus on safety and reliability. Weekend work may be required in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance in a production environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift or maneuver objects up to 50 pounds.
• Graduated trade school or on-the-job maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and daily inspections.
• Work on electrical and refrigeration systems.
• Operate proper hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks.
• Use measuring tools and gauges; high precision not always required.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.

We want you to join our family! Mr. Dell's Foods, LLC is now hiring Maintenance Mechanics on 3rd shift, in a temperature-controlled environment. This position will perform all mechanical work involving dismantling, overhauling, repairing, assembling, welding and other modifications. The top priority is to keep production running!

Job Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and daily inspections.
• Perform work on electrical and refrigeration systems.
• Must be able to lift or maneuver objects up to 50 pounds.
• Must be available for maintenance emergencies as needed.
• Operate proper electric, pneumatic or hydraulic hand tools, such as drills, impact wrenches and power saws.
• Use tape measures, scales, rulers, height sticks, hand levels or gauges. High precision is not essential.
• Use electronic scales, balances, voltmeters, micrometers, gauges, metering devices or oscilloscopes where high precision is essential.
• Operate motorized vehicles, automobiles, light duty trucks, scooters, overhead hoists, skid loaders or airlifts.
• Operate acetylene torches for cutting and shaping metal
• ATTITUDE, EFFORT AND ATTENDANCE are essential.

Pay

$25.00-$36.00, commensurate with experience
