Associated Staffing Inc. is seeking Maintenance Technicians for an automotive manufacturing operation in Columbus, Nebraska. Pay starts at $30/hour and increases with experience.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, read schematics, and respond quickly to breakdowns while maintaining accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.

Put your troubleshooting and mechanical skills to work in a hands-on maintenance role with an automotive manufacturing operation in Columbus. We re hiring Maintenance Technicians for all three shifts, with pay starting at $30/hour and increasing based on experience. If you have experience working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic systems and enjoy solving equipment problems, this could be the opportunity for you.

Shifts & Pay

• 1st Shift: 6:30 AM 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Pay: $30+/hr DOE

What You ll Do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Diagnose equipment failures and perform root-cause troubleshooting
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams and schematics
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance requests
• Complete and properly close maintenance work orders
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment documentation
• Properly use and care for company tools, equipment, parts and resources
• Work closely with production and other departments to minimize downtime
• Follow LOTO procedures and all company safety, quality and environmental requirements

What We re Looking For

• Industrial maintenance or related hands-on experience
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• A team-oriented, service-focused approach when supporting production
• A technical degree or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Previous automotive or manufacturing experience is also preferred.
