Job summary

Richman Property Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Maintenance Supervisor for our Stamford, CT community. The role oversees daily repairs, vacancy prep, and service responses, while ensuring safety, curb appeal, and client satisfaction across our 431-unit property.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in maintenance supervision in apartment settings, a valid US driver's license, and relevant EPA licensing; Yardi experience is a plus. On-site leadership and ongoing training are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade/technical schooling preferred.
• 4+ years maintenance experience as a supervisor/technician in apartment communities.
• Yardi software experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily repair and upkeep of the property.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy within deadlines.
• Manage service requests and response times within deadlines.
• Maintain curb appeal and general cleanliness of buildings and grounds.
• Interview, screen, and recommend maintenance staff.
• Train maintenance or grounds personnel.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and/or vendor work.
• Maintain supply and tool inventory; oversee ordering of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure OSHA standards are met and a safe work environment.
• Maintain logs and report unusual circumstances regarding the property.
• Uphold exceptional customer service and seek growth opportunities.

Position: Maintenance Supervisor

Location:Rippowam Park, our 431 unit Residential community, Located in Stamford, CT

Key Qualifications:

• EPA Section 608 Type I and II or EPA Universal Technician license
• Experience managing maintenance operations in apartment communities
• On Call Rotation required

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily repair and upkeep of the property
• Manage the preparation of vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
• Manage service requests and response times, ensuring completion within established deadlines
• Assist in maintaining curb appeal and general cleanliness of buildings and grounds
• Interview, screen, and recommend candidates for maintenance technician or grounds personnel positions
• Execute subsequent training of maintenance or grounds personnel
• Manage scheduling and direct supervision of all in-house and/or vendor work
• Maintain supply and tool inventory; oversee ordering and delivery of necessary supplies and equipment
• Assist in disciplinary or promotional recommendations for maintenance and grounds personnel
• Ensure OSHA standards are met at all times and maintain a safe work environment
• Maintain logs and records; report unusual circumstances regarding the property
• Uphold and demonstrate exceptional customer service; seek educational opportunities for personal growth

Qualifications

• Education:
  
  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade/technical school or industry-related courses preferred
• Experience:
  
  • Minimum four (4+) years maintenance experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Superintendent, or Maintenance Technician II
  • Experience managing maintenance operations in apartment communities
  • Experience with Yardi software products a plus
• Skills & Certifications:
  
  • EPA Section 608 Type I and II or EPA Universal Technician license
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • CAMT and CPO certifications may be required within the first six (6) months of employment
  • Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
