Richman Property Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for the Wayside Oaks community in Tinton Falls, NJ. The role involves daily repair work, preparing units for occupancy, managing service requests, and ensuring safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of maintenance, EPA certifications, and knowledge of Yardi. Benefits include a sign-on bonus, comprehensive health plans, 401(k) with company match, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; industry courses preferred.
• Two+ years of maintenance/repair experience; groundskeeper acceptable.
• Proficiency in maintenance tasks: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
• Own basic tools as allowed by state laws.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws including Fair Housing.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• EPA Section 608 Type I/II or Universal license preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Proficient in English for communication and records.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property.

Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Wayside Oaks our 63 residential unit community, Located in Tinton Falls, NJ

What we offer:

• A $1000 Sign on bonus. Which will be paid out in the following - $500 after 90 days and the other $500 after 6 months

Key Qualifications:

• Two or more years of maintenance experience in a residential community environment Preferred
• EPA I & II or EPA Universal
• Experience with Yardi property management software products

Requirements:

• Education:

  • Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
  • Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Skills & Certifications:
  • EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
