Qualifications

• Two or more years of maintenance and repair experience in a residential environment.
• Experience with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy within deadlines.
• Manage service requests and ensure timely completion.
• Uphold OSHA standards and the Clean Air Act.
• Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment.
• Complete tasks such as training, logs, and reports.
• Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and grounds.
• Assist in preventative maintenance planning.
• Be on-call as needed and tolerate overtime.

Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Rippowam Park. Our 431 residential unit community located in Stamford, CT

Key Qualifications:

• Two or more years of maintenance experience in a residential community environment Preferred
• EPA I & II or EPA Universal
• Experience with Yardi property management software products

Requirements:

• Education:
  • High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
• Experience:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
  • Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
  • Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Skills & Certifications:
  • EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
