Job summary

Siri InfoSolutions Inc. is seeking a Mainframe Storage Admin for Salt Lake City, UT with remote options. You will manage Hitachi and IBM storage platforms, perform replication setup, and ensure high availability across mainframe storage subsystems.

The role requires hands-on experience with DFSMS, SMP/E, and storage management tools, plus disaster recovery planning and DR drills. Remote work is available, with on-site requirements as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install and manage mainframe storage replication and DC storage
• Perform capacity planning and performance tuning for storage subsystems
• Provide guidance to development teams on storage needs and constraints
• On-call troubleshooting for storage-related issues and incidents

Mainframe Storage Admin

Salt Lake City, UT/ Remote

Hire Type: fulltime

Salary Range- $90,000-$110,000 a year

• Hands-on experience with Hitachi VSP 5000, IBM TS7780,
• Hitachi HUR
• DFSMS suite, CA-1
• FDR/ABR
• SMP/E in depth knowledge to do install work on ISV products
• Setup and Manage Mainframe DC Storage Replication
• IODF/IOCDS, HCD/HCM, Mainframe Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning
• PARMLIB and PROCLIB concatenation and maintenance
• Experience in Disaster Recovery setup and conducting DR drills.
• Provide 24/7 operational support for Mainframe storage systems and associated utilities.
• Perform Mainframe storage system recovery activities to ensure high availability and resilience.
• Provide technical guidance and advice to application development teams on need basis
• On-Call support for any mainframe storage related issues troubleshooting
