Qualifications

• Must have 9+ years of experience in mainframe storage administration.
• Strong knowledge of IBM z/OS Storage Management.
• Hands-on Hitachi Disk Storage knowledge (HDS/VSP, USP, VSP G Series).
• Experience administering IBM VTS/VTL and related tape environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support IBM mainframe storage infrastructure in a 24x7 enterprise environment.
• Manage DASD storage using Hitachi Disk Storage and related subsystems.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot VTS/VTL and tape environments.
• Perform storage allocation, provisioning, migration, and reclamation tasks.
