Job summary

Stratford Solutions Inc. is seeking an IT Service Management Specialist – Mainframe Production Control in New York, NY. The role is 100% onsite, full-time, with a 3-day work week schedule and rotating shifts.

You will monitor job flows using CA Workload Automation DE, with jobs executed on z/OS mainframes, UNIX, or PeopleSoft servers. Strong knowledge of JCL, GDGs, File-AID, IDCAMS, and related tools is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with four years of IT service management experience.
• Bachelor's degree and eight years of IT service management experience.
• Education and/or experience equivalent to the above.

Responsibilities

• Monitor job flows controlled by CA Workload Automation DE (dSeries) scheduling system.
• Jobs run on z/OS mainframe, UNIX, or PeopleSoft servers.
• Respond quickly to job failures and coordinate remediation with on-call staff.
• Occasionally migrate software to production or test environments.
• Document problems, set up job flow dependencies, and troubleshoot test flows.
