Job summary

PACCAR is looking for an IT Operations Analyst in Renton, WA, responsible for monitoring mainframe batch processes, conducting diagnostic troubleshooting, and ensuring the health of critical applications. This role requires 5+ years of hands-on IT experience and excellent communication skills.

You will work in a global team to improve operational efficiency and transfer knowledge to junior staff while providing off-hours support when needed. Strong technical skills in databases and incident management are crucial for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on IT technical experience.
• Familiar with Critical Incident and Problem Management processes.
• Excellent Communication skills for writing technical materials.

Responsibilities

• Monitor mainframe batch processes and take corrective actions.
• Assist with support of cross-platform administration.
• Mentor junior staff and transfer technical knowledge.
• Design and implement recovery procedures.
• Participate in or lead projects as needed.
