Maine Youth Power is seeking an Operations Director to support youth-led community organizing in Maine. You will manage administrative tasks, handle grant writing and financial operations, and optimize internal systems and organizational structure.
The role offers a flexible schedule with in Maine, occasional nights and weekends, and collaborative work with a small team. This is a growth opportunity in nonprofit management, operations, and grant writing.
Full Time: 40 hours/week Rate: $28/hour*
Start Date: October 20th (flexible)
Remote/in Maine: Flexible work schedule, with occasional nights and weekends.

An inclusive youth-led movement of young Mainers working in solidarity for human dignity, access and a livable future by building power across rural and suburban Maine. Maine is a rural state and there is huge potential for organizing and building power among otherwise isolated rural youth who are frequently overlooked and underserved by national movements for social change. We’re fighting for a connected state where rural youth have the resources, skills, and community they need to create change in their communities, and build coalitions across issue areas.

You will be a key member of our director team, handling administrative tasks, writing grants on behalf of MYP, and bringing your creativity and expertise to optimize our internal systems and organizational structure. A successful candidate will be very organized and able to keep track of multiple projects and important deadlines.
