Job summary

Wings Credit Union in Colorado Springs seeks a Mail Operations Clerk to handle inbound mail from USPS, FedEx, and UPS, scanning payments, and routing items to the correct departments to support daily credit union workflows.

You will maintain logs, assist with outbound mail, ensure proper postage, and help with document indexing while upholding security and BSA requirements. A high school diploma is required; Colorado driver’s license and OSHA 10 within 90 days are also expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years mail processing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of USPS, FedEx, and UPS shipping methods.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and mail systems.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license at hire.
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and distribute inbound mail and packages from major couriers.
• Scan and route payments for processing by Electronic Banking.
• Index mail to appropriate departments and maintain central master file.
• Maintain logs of mail items and inbound documents for audit purposes.
• Coordinate distribution of canceled checks per Indirect Lending guidance.
• Prepare and distribute insurance notices to relevant parties.
