Job summary

Northwestern University in Evanston, IL is seeking a proactive Mail Room Associate to support Kellogg Mail Room operations. You will sort, meter, and deliver mail, advise customers on cost-effective mailing options, and assist with reporting and policy enforcement across Kellogg locations.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills, familiarity with USPS/FedEx/UPS rates, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong keyboarding and Windows skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Sort, meter, pick up, and deliver mail for Kellogg School.
• Advise customers on cost-effective mailing options with up-to-date rates/tech.
• Produce daily reports of mail room activity by carrier.
• Help enforce building policy for deliveries with tracking and documentation.
• Provide facilities support (loading dock, front desk, PA) as needed.
