Job summary

MassMutual in Springfield, MA is seeking a dependable Mailroom Clerk to support day-to-day mail and package distribution across lines of business, ensuring timely and accurate routing. You will log, sort, and deliver mail, operate postage meters and shipping systems, and assist with outbound shipments, while maintaining confidentiality and following established procedures.

This role offers cross-training in the Mail Center and Warehouse, with a Monday–Friday onsite schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Onsite work schedule Monday–Friday (7:00 am–3:30 pm).
• 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, log, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
• Process USPS mail and express shipments; enter items into tracking systems.
• Deliver mail and packages to designated areas on schedule.
• Prepare outgoing USPS and express shipments using required software and equipment.
• Operate mailroom equipment (postage meters, shipping systems).
• Assist with digital mail for opt-in participants and maintain DO NOT OPEN lists.
