Job summary

ESFM, the workplace solutions division of Compass Group USA, is hiring a Mailroom Clerk in Solon, OH. This full-time role handles mail, shipments, and distribution with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with pay ranging from $17.50 to $18.00 per hour. A valid driver's license and shipping know-how are preferred to support internal clients and operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred Dangerous Goods shipping certificate (49 CFR & IATA).
• Knowledge of domestic and international shipping guidelines.
• Experience using carrier shipping software (UPS, DHL, FedEx).

Responsibilities

• Receives, sorts, delivers, and processes mail and courier items.
• Verifies and records incoming/outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
• Tracks courier and accountable items (FedEx, UPS, Certified Mail).
• Packages and labels materials using courier software.
• Monitors hazardous materials and follows SOPs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
