Job summary

Compass Group USA, ESFM division, seeks a Mailroom Clerk for a full-time position in Blue Ash, OH. The location is Johnson & Johnson - 4545 Creek Road, Blue Ash, OH 45242 with online applications accepted only.

Responsibilities include processing mail and distribution items with a focus on customer service, tracking shipments, and following SOPs. Requires HS diploma and DG shipping certificate preferred; wage is $17 per hour with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Preferred Dangerous Goods shipping certificate (49 CFR & IATA).
Experience with domestic and international shipping of Dangerous & Non-Dangerous Goods including country-specific guidelines.
Experience using shipping software as used by common carriers (UPS, DHL, FedEx).

Responsibilities

Receives, sorts, delivers, and processes courier items, interoffice mail, magazines, and USPS mail.
Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
Tracks courier and accountable items (FedEx, UPS, Certified Mail, etc.).
Packages, labels, and processes all Non-Hazardous and Hazardous materials using carrier software.
Researches and routes unidentified mail.
Coordinates, stages, and transports bulk mail items.
Delivers and tracks messenger items.
Follows client SOPs and maintains accurate records of inquiries and fulfillment of requests.
Monitors packages for hazardous and suspicious materials.
Performs other duties as assigned.
