Job summary

ESFM, a Compass Group USA division, is hiring a full-time Mailroom Clerk for Racine, WI. You will handle inbound/outbound mail, process courier items, and ensure accurate tracking using carrier software. A valid driver’s license and shipping knowledge are essential.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $17.50 per hour with onsite perks like a meal plan and free parking.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant prior customer service experience.
• Preferred Dangerous Goods shipping certificate (49 CFR & IATA).
• Preferred knowledge of domestic and international shipping guidelines.
• Preferred experience using carrier shipping software (UPS, DHL, FedEx, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Receives, sorts, delivers, and processes courier items and USPS mail.
• Verifies and records incoming/outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
• Tracks courier items and manages packaging and labeling of materials.
• Maintains SOPs and follows client procedures.
• Monitors packages for hazardous materials and handles inquiries.
