Job summary

FedEx Office is seeking a Mail Services Specialist to handle incoming/outgoing mail and parcels in a corporate setting. You will assure accuracy, efficiency, and timely processing while delivering excellent service to internal and external clients.

This role is based at the Tyson, VA area, with five days on-site. This position requires work at a FedEx location, performing packaging, shipping, equipment operation, and fulfillment support, focusing on customer satisfaction and adherence to company

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education required.
• 1+ year of customer service or operations experience.
• Familiarity with USPS and commercial carrier processes (UPS, FedEx, DHL) preferred.
• Experience with mailroom equipment (e.g., postage meters, envelope openers, barcode scanners) preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn new software applications quickly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all mail and shipping related services and activities.
• Pick-up and deliver packages and mail within the onsite location.
• Operate and maintain an automatic mail processing machine (mail meter).
• Provide customer service by informing customers of routes, products, services and rates.
• Log receipts and releases using the tracking system.
