Excellus Health Plan Inc. is seeking a Production Mail Operator to join the Rochester, NY team. This on-site role supports multiple mail operations with day, evening, and overnight shifts, including some weekend coverage.

You will handle insertion, sorting, presort, and fulfillment tasks per documented procedures. Under supervision, you will manage equipment, ensure accuracy of postage, and maintain inventory.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma, vocational education, or GED required.
• Background in mailing is helpful.
• Knowledge of the operation of computer workstations including software commands, touch screen or mouse, storage, and manipulation of information.
• Ability to prioritize assignments, work independently and possess strong organizational skills.
• Some shifts may require Valid Class D driver's license and clean driving record.
• Three or more years of experience in a production environment.
• Ability to work on multiple production machines throughout the Mailroom.

Aufgaben

• Operate high-speed mail insertion equipment for small and large jobs.
• Perform duties of automated and manual insertion per documented procedures.
• Set up machines including postage rates to meter envelopes accurately.
• Run barcode sorter and manage delivery to post office.
• Prepare presort mail and stage completed material for delivery to the Post Office.
• Fulfill orders (pick and pack), package and ship accordingly.
• Operate automated pallet wrapper.
• Monitor inventory of mailing supplies and notify supervisor when low.
• May operate corporate van/truck for deliveries.
