Job summary

Excellus BCBS is seeking a Production Print Specialist to operate printers and finishing equipment in Rochester, NY, with shifts that may include day, evening, overnight, and weekends. You will monitor quality, perform basic bindery tasks, and handle packaging and documentation as part of daily workflows.

This on-site role supports multiple production areas, requires strong organizational skills, and may involve equipment maintenance and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, vocational education, or GED required.
• Background in printing is helpful.
• Knowledge of computer workstations and basic software commands.
• Ability to prioritize, work independently, and stay organized.
• Some shifts may require a valid Class D driver’s license.
• Level II requires ability to work on multiple production machines.
• Three or more years of experience in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate production printers and finishing equipment per manufacturers’ specs.
• Perform routine maintenance (toner, lubricant) and report issues.
• Review job requests and prints; monitor quality and completeness of jobs.
• Package jobs, complete work orders, tickets, and receipts.
• Perform basic bindery tasks (folding, cutting, punching, binding, laminating).
• Operate multiple pieces of equipment (drill, trimmer, folder, binder).
• Maintain inventory of print supplies and upkeep logs.
