Job summary

Sonida Senior Living's Tranquillity at Fredericktowne in Frederick, MD is seeking a Memory Care Activity Director to design and implement a monthly resident-centered activity calendar, train new staff, and maintain a safe, engaging environment.

Candidates should hold CPR/First Aid certification, have college credits with a Bachelor's degree preferred, and demonstrate strong communication with residents and families.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid Certification is required.
• College credits are required for consideration.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred for advancement or leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a monthly programming calendar based on the resident preferences.
• Train new staff on the Magnolia Trails Pillars and expectations.
• Ensures a safe environment for the residents by following Prohibited Items and Safety Check policies.
• Communicate with family members and provide ongoing support and education.
• Conduct informative tours for prospective residents and their family members when necessary.

Compensation: $65,000 - 70,000
