Qualifications

• RN license - NH or any compact state.
• BCLS certified or within 30 days of hire; BSN strongly preferred
• ACLS certified or within 1 year of hire
• Adheres to hospital policies, ANA standards of practice, and nursing code of ethics.
• Documentation accurate, timely, concise, legible per policy.
• Integrates national practice guidelines into patient care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, timely, accurate medication and IV administration.
• Uses information technology to document and communicate patient information.
• Mentors new staff and participates in continued education.
• Delegates tasks appropriately based on licensure and experience.
• Performs comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring.
• Plans and prioritizes care, including discharge planning and collaboration with the care team.
• Evaluates care effectiveness and updates plans as needed.
• Educates patients and families to improve health outcomes.
