Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Exeter Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide professional care in a dynamic unit. Reporting to the Unit Nurse Manager/Director, you will coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, ensure safe medication administration, and support patient-centered outcomes on a Magnet-recognized campus with modern facilities.

Qualifications

RN license NH or compact state.
BCLS certification or within 30 days of hire; BSN strongly preferred
ACLS certification or within 1 year of hire

Responsibilities

Adheres to hospital policies and ensures safe, timely medication administration and accurate transcription.
Mentors new employees and facilitates learning with occasional formal presentations.
Delegates tasks appropriately based on licensure and experience; monitors staff utilization.
Performs physical assessments and ongoing evaluations to guide care planning.
Plans and coordinates discharge planning with multidisciplinary teams; communicates hand-offs effectively.
Evaluates care plans and adjusts based on patient outcomes and feedback.
Educates patients and families; documents education and contributes to patient education materials.
Pursues formal education and professional growth to maintain and advance clinical skills.
