Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Magnet Program Director to lead Magnet status preparation, coordinate data collection, and mentor nursing teams. The role reports to senior nursing leadership and collaborates across inpatient and ambulatory areas to promote evidence-based practice and improved outcomes.

The position requires a BSN, RN license in New Jersey, 5+ years of nursing experience, and at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

BSN required and licensed as NJ RN.
Minimum of 5 years nursing experience.
Minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity.
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Lead activities to attain and maintain ANCC Magnet Status.
Coordinate data collection and documentation for Magnet processes.
Oversee Demographic Data Collection Tool and DDCT monitoring.
Manage nursing dashboards and NDNQI data.
Promote patient safety culture and nursing research.
Mentor nurses in Magnet model and Shared Decision Making.
Prepare and support Magnet site visit and related projects.
Collaborate with nursing leadership to drive improvements.
