Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System seeks a Manager of Magnet Program to lead the ANCC Magnet application in collaboration with the Director of the Center for Nursing Excellence, Education and Innovation. This role ensures the Magnet framework is embedded across the organization through education and leadership engagement.

The position involves coordinating dashboards, gap analyses, chairing the Magnet Steering Committee, and developing reports for ANCC submissions while promoting evidence-based practice

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; RN license in Florida.
• 3 years of nursing experience required.
• Leadership experience in Magnet or nursing excellence programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops Magnet dashboards and shares with CNO and Nursing Leadership Team on a monthly basis.
• Conducts gap analysis for evidence of the Magnet Model components and develops plans to close the gaps.
• Chairs the Magnet Steering Committee; liaison for clinical and support departments, administration, physicians and the community.
• Maintains a spirit of inquiry using evidence-based practice findings to improve patient care.
• Coordinates hospital preparation for Magnet appraiser site visit, exhibits, unit visits, agenda planning and unit champion orientation.
• Plans, integrates, implements, and evaluates Magnet program initiatives; analyzes outcomes and prepares reports.
