Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in Hackensack, NJ is seeking a Magnet Program Director to lead efforts to attain and maintain ANCC Magnet Status. The role focuses on planning, coordination, and collaboration to advance nursing excellence across the campus.

Responsibilities include developing the comprehensive project plan, coordinating preparation of the Magnet document, collecting and tracking evidence, managing nursing dashboards and NDNQI data, and educating Magnet Champions to sustain a culture

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Minimum of 5 years nursing experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity.
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required.
• Specialty Certification in nursing required.

• Analyze nurse-sensitive patient outcome data and compare performance to benchmarks.
• Promote a culture of patient safety, nursing research, and innovation.
• Educate Magnet Champions to enhance and promote the Magnet culture.
