Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Magnet Program Director to lead activities required to attain and sustain ANCC Magnet Status across the campus. The role includes developing a comprehensive project plan, coordinating Magnet document preparation, and ensuring robust evidence gathering and data tracking.

You will analyze nurse-sensitive outcomes, promote patient safety culture, and educate Magnet Champions while collaborating with nursing leaders to drive changes.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership capacity.
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license required.
• Specialty Certification in nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities to attain and maintain ANCC Magnet Status.
• Develop and manage the comprehensive project plan for the assigned campus.
• Coordinate preparation, editing, and publication of the Magnet document.
• Identify, collect, categorize, and track evidence for sources of evidence (SOE).
• Complete campus-specific DDCT and interim monitoring.
• Manage data collection related to nursing dashboards and NDNQI clinical data.
• Analyze nurse-sensitive patient outcome data and compare performance to benchmarks.
• Promote a culture of patient safety, nursing research, innovation, and recognition.
• Educate Magnet Champions to enhance and promote the Magnet culture.
• Collaborate with nursing managers and leaders to drive changes and support projects.

What You'll Do

Education
