Midea America Corp in Plano, TX is seeking a results-driven technical sales engineer to lead the market introduction of the 3rd-generation maglev compressor in North America. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of North American HVAC industry experience; prior OEM chiller customer relationships preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Danfoss maglev compressors or comparable maglev/centrifugal compressor technology or sales.
• Familiar with North American HVAC industry standards and certification frameworks (UL, AHRI, ASHRAE, DOE).

Responsabilités

• Lead technical promotion and sales support for the 3rd-generation maglev compressor in North America; achieve regional sales targets.
• Develop and grow relationships with North American OEM chiller manufacturers—Danfoss, Carrier, Trane, York—establishing technical and commercial partnerships.
• Manage the full maglev compressor project lifecycle: technical selection, solution delivery, commercial negotiation, prototype testing, and mass production ramp-up.
• Coordinate technical solution output with R&D and manufacturing teams; ensure product certifications (UL/cUL/CRN/AHRI) and on-time delivery.
• Participate in industry exhibitions and technical events (e.g., AHR Expo) to elevate Midea's maglev compressor brand presence in North America.
• Monitor the competitive landscape of the North American maglev compressor market; deliver competitive analysis and market strategy recommendations.
