Job summary

Madisonhealth is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and indirect patient care at the Madison Orthopedics clinic in Idaho. The role requires collaboration with physicians and RNs, and involves communicating changes in patient condition based on diagnostics and symptoms.

The position is part-time with a Monday and Wednesday schedule, 8:00am-4:00pm. ACLS and PALS certifications are required, along with Idaho licensure.

Qualifications

• ACLS and PALS certifications current.
• Ability to communicate with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care as part of the Madison Orthopedics clinic.
• Communicate patient condition changes and diagnostic results to physicians and RNs.
• Participate in performance improvement activities to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Treat patients, staff, physicians and families with respect and professionalism.
• Be flexible to changes in systems and processes.

Job description

Madisonhealthis seeking to hire a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and indirect patient care, specific to the age of the patient population served in the Madison Orthopedics medical clinic. They willcommunicatewith physicians and registered nurses about changes in the patient's clinical condition including the results of diagnostic studies and symptomology.

They are able to perform general nursing duties with adequate supervision, and participates in performance improvement activities. They will ensure that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the center's standards of care.

They willdemonstrate performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the medical center and organization: remains flexible to changing systems: is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice and treats staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect.

Requirements
