Job summary

Madison Health is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant (MA/CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support patient care in a clinical setting in Rexburg, Idaho. You will work closely with physicians and the clinical team to ensure safe, efficient care and a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient care, monitoring patient conditions, and communicating results to providers while adhering to scope of practice and supervision requirements.

Qualifications

• Certification must be current if CMA or LPN license held.
• Exemplary patient care and respectful collaboration with providers.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Windows-based programs.
• Minimum of one year medical office experience preferred.
• Evidence of a high school diploma and graduation from an accredited program.

Job description

The Medical Assistant (MA/CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect patient care to patients in the medical clinic based on their training, credentials, and scope of practice. This position works closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other clinical team members to support quality patient care and ensure the clinic operates safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient care, monitoring and communicating changes in a patient's condition, reporting diagnostic results and patient concerns to the appropriate provider, and performing clinical duties within the individual's scope of practice and level of supervision.

The MA/CMA or LPN contributes to a positive patient experience by demonstrating professionalism, compassion, flexibility, and respect toward patients, families, and coworkers. This position also participates in quality improvement activities and supports Madison Health's mission, values, and standards of care.

Classification: Part Time

Schedule:

• Monday 8:00am-4:00pm

Required Skills:

• 1. Certification: Must maintain a current certification if s/he is a CMA or Current LPN license
