This role requires close collaboration with the Madison office and leadership teams, supporting staff, ensuring policy adherence, and acting as onsite liaison for operations, clients, and support functions.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction and/or general contracting with project management and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to translate market data and demographic trends into viable pursuit and development strategies.
• Comfort with budgeting, pro formas, and basic risk/return evaluation to support go/no-go decisions.
• Strong communication skills to engage clients and partners across audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple high-value pursuits with disciplined planning.

Responsibilities

• Strategic vision: define long-term office and market strategy for business development, operations, talent and community involvement.
• Acquisition & feasibility: support sourcing of new projects with financial analysis and risk assessment.
• KPIs: own regional KPIs such as development backlog, project updates, and budgets.
• Team Building: lead Madison team and foster a productive, collaborative office environment.
• Project Pursuits: participate in specific project pursuits in the Madison region.
• Community Stakeholder: engage in Madison-area events to strengthen brand and build opportunities.
