Qualifications

• Strong tailoring, alterations, and garment construction skills, including proficiency with hand sewing and industrial sewing machines.
• Experience taking accurate body measurements and performing fittings, with attention to detail in pattern adjustments and fit corrections.
• Knowledge of suiting, formalwear, and general apparel fabrics, including pressing, finishing, and garment care best practices.
• Customer-focused mindset with clear communication skills and a professional, service-oriented approach in a retail environment.
• Ability to manage workflow, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced showroom setting.
• Comfort working collaboratively with sales and showroom teams to deliver consistent, high-quality customer experiences.
• Previous experience as a tailor, alterations specialist, or similar role in fashion or menswear/womenswear; suiting experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and work with fine details; capacity to lift and move garments and equipment as needed.
• Availability to work showroom hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
