Job summary

Indochino in Farmington, CT is seeking a skilled alterations associate to perform fittings, alterations, and garment care in a fast-paced showroom. You will advise customers on fit, calculate lead times, and maintain quality control to meet high standards.

Strong tailoring skills and the ability to bridge communication between showroom staff and tailors are essential. The role supports a busy retail environment with weekends/evenings work and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High level of applied tailoring skills
• Ability to bridge communication between Showroom staff and tailors
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Word, Excel or Google Docs is a definite asset
• Previous experience in Fashion Retail is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Perform and complete alterations according to Indochino’s guidelines and service standards
• Provide advice on product and calculate lead times to manage expectations
• Manage 300+ units per month minimum and respond to requests promptly
• Coordinate alterations with external vendor and resolve issues
• Cultivate customer relationships and brand ambassadors
• Educate customers and showroom staff on proper fitting techniques
• Handle customer service issues and escalate when needed
