Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking an End User Computing Engineer in Hoover, Alabama to design, implement, and maintain desktop solutions across on-premises and cloud resources. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements, ensure secure architectures, and deliver scalable desktop environments.

The role emphasizes configuring virtual machines, application delivery, image and profile management, and implementing security controls to comply with industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field with 4 years designing desktop solutions.
• Or High School Diploma/GED and eight years designing and implementing desktop solutions.
• Experience in network design, including connectivity options, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Related certifications in A+, Azure, Citrix, Jamf, Microsoft technologies, etc.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end desktop solutions by analyzing business requirements and existing infrastructure.
• Designs and integrates application and desktop products, including virtual apps and desktops.
• Configures and manages virtual machines, session hosts, networks, and storage for virtual desktops.
• Ensures image management, user profiles, and application delivery mechanisms.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve escalated issues related to the service.
• Writes, tests, validates, and installs packages for software upgrades/patches.
• Provides support for incidents escalated from Tier 1/2 with focus on PC hardware and OS.
