Job summary

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Machinist at the Orange, Texas location within Sabine River Operations (SRO). Machinists provide maintenance craft support to plants, maintaining and repairing equipment within craft knowledge and expertise.

The role requires broadened technical skills in analytical methods or operational processes to perform a defined array of activities and may serve as a resource for less experienced teammates.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of relevant military or machinist experience in industrial or commercial environment.
• Ability to work full shifts, overtime, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and corrects equipment problems.
• Operate lathe, drill press and various machine tools for progressive machining.
• Calibrates and aligns equipment; performs preventative maintenance.
• Coordinates maintenance spare parts and planning with operations.
