Job summary

Dow is seeking a Machinist at the Orange, Texas location within Sabine River Operations. You will provide maintenance craft support to plants, maintain and repair all types of equipment, and help ensure reliable processes through skilled machining and diagnostics.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 5+ years of machinist experience, and the ability to work full shifts, including overtime and holidays. Safety and compliance are emphasized in daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years machinist experience or related military experience preferred.
• Experience with a manual lathe, boring mill, grinders and industrial drill presses is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and correct equipment problems.
• Operate lathe, drill press and various machine tools for progressive machining.
• Calibrate and align equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
• Disassemble, clean and repair pressure relief devices; document findings.
