Job summary

Dow is seeking a Machinist in Orange, Texas, to provide maintenance craft support and repair equipment across processes. The role requires handling varied machine tools, repairs, and calibration, with focus on safety and reliability.

You will contribute to reliability improvements and maintain documentation under the National Board VR program. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent and 5+ years machining experience, plus a valid US driver's license and legal work status in

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; 5+ years machinist experience or military background.
• Ability to work full shift, overtime and holidays as needed.
• Experience with a manual lathe, boring mill, grinders, and industrial drill presses is required.
• Current, valid US drivers license.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and corrects equipment problems.
• Set up, align, and secure fixtures, tools, and materials on machines.
• Operate Lathe, drill press and other machine tools for progressive machining.
• Calibrate and align equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and prioritizing maintenance activities.
• Disassemble, clean, and repair pressure relief devices.
