Job summary

Par Health in Missouri is seeking a Machinist/Millwright to troubleshoot, repair and replace mechanical process equipment. You will work on pumps, gearboxes, agitators, conveyors, centrifuges, and related systems to improve reliability.

The role requires blueprint literacy, math skills, and a proactive maintenance mindset. The position features a 12-hour rotating shift (four on, four off) in a manufacturing setting, with safety and regulatory compliance as priorities.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates degree in Applied Science or equivalent technical training.
• 1–3 years maintenance technician experience, 5–7 years preferred.
• Experience with rotating equipment, pumps, gearboxes, bearings.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety practices and FDA/cGMP guidelines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose plant equipment problems.
• Implement equipment modifications and/or replacements.
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Conduct routine repairs to mechanical equipment per work instructions and safety procedures.
• Operate milling machines, drill presses, and surface grinders as needed.
• Complete pre-task analyses and setup/change-overs for production machines.
