Job summary

Par Health is seeking a Machinist/Millwright to troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical process equipment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, blueprint literate, and experienced with pumps, gear reducers, agitators, and conveyors.

Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission is required. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, set up production machines, and support safety and OSHA practices.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Applied Science or technical machinist program preferred.
• 1–3 years maintenance technician experience in manufacturing; 5–7 years preferred.
• Experience with pumps, gearboxes, agitators, and bearing replacements.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose plant equipment problems.
• Implement equipment modifications and/or replacements.
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Conduct routine repairs to mechanical equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
• Operate a milling machine, drill press, and surface grinders.
• Complete production machine set-ups and change-overs.
• Conduct troubleshooting of hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems.
• Complete pre-task analyses for maintenance activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
