Job summary

Par Health, Inc. is seeking a skilled Machinist/Millwright to diagnose, repair, and modify mechanical process equipment in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires self-motivation, blueprint literacy, and the ability to work with pumps, gear reducers, agitators, conveyors, and related components. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, set up production machines, and support continuous improvement while working a rotating 12-hour shift (nights/weekends).

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent certification with machinist focus is preferred.
• 1–3 years of maintenance technician experience in manufacturing; 5–7 years preferred.
• Experience with rotating equipment, pumps, gearbox rebuilds, and bearing replacements is essential.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations and cGMP guidelines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose plant equipment problems and implement modifications or replacements.
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Conduct routine repairs to mechanical equipment per work instructions and safety procedures.
• Operate milling machine, drill press, and surface grinders for component repair.
• Conduct precision measurements and machining of parts to tight tolerances.
• Support production machine set-ups and change-overs.
• Complete pre-task analyses and uphold safety and regulatory requirements.
